After the estate sale
Estate cleanout coordination.
Plan what happens to remaining items before your sale begins. We coordinate donation and removal through independent partners, with scope and costs agreed in advance.

The part families worry about
The sale ends. Your to-do list should not start over.
Almost every estate has something left afterward. Furniture may not find the right buyer. A donation organization may accept some items and decline others. Ordinary household goods may simply need another route out of the home.
We discuss that reality before setup begins. Instead of leaving you to call charities, haulers, and removal companies after the sale, Estate Greats coordinates an agreed plan that keeps the property moving toward empty.
For many typical estates, the process takes approximately 7–9 days from our first setup day through final post-sale removal.
How the process works
A defined finish, not an open-ended cleanup project.
The schedule varies by estate, but this is the sequence we plan around.
Prepare the Home
Our team sorts, researches, prices, photographs, and merchandises the estate for sale.
Typical days 1–4Run the Sale
Estate Greats manages the sale, buyers, checkout, negotiations, and the home.
Typical days 5–7Coordinate Donation
Eligible remaining items move to an independent donation organization or partner.
Normally the next dayRemove What Remains
Items still in the home move into the cleanout or removal option selected in advance.
Normally one day laterExact timing depends on the estate’s size, sale schedule, partner availability, item volume, property access, and the option selected.
More than one way to finish
We match the removal plan to the estate.
Not every home needs the same solution, and not every partner accepts the same items.
Free Cleanout Option
Estate Greats works with an independent partner that offers a free estate cleanout option. Suitability and availability depend on the estate and the partner’s requirements.
Donation First
Usable furniture, household goods, clothing, décor, and other eligible items can be offered to independent donation organizations before final removal.
Lower-Cost Removal
When the free option is not the right fit, we can coordinate with several lower-cost leftover-removal providers as alternatives to premium junk-hauling services.
Clear responsibilities
Estate Greats coordinates. Independent partners perform the physical work.
We want every client to understand who is doing what.
Estate Greats manages the estate sale and helps arrange the agreed post-sale plan. Donation pickup, cleanout, hauling, and certain removal services are performed by independent third-party organizations and providers.
Partner acceptance rules, timing, pricing, and availability can vary. We review the available options with you before proceeding.
Common questions
Estate cleanout FAQs
Does Estate Greats perform the cleanout?
Estate Greats manages the sale and coordinates the post-sale plan. Physical donation pickup, hauling, and cleanout work are performed by independent third-party partners.
Is the cleanout really free?
A partner offers a free estate cleanout option. Whether it is available and appropriate depends on the estate and that partner’s requirements. Other lower-cost options may be recommended instead.
When is donation scheduled?
Our normal plan is donation the day after the estate sale ends, subject to the receiving organization’s schedule and acceptance rules.
What if donation does not empty the house?
When needed, remaining-item removal is normally planned for the following day so declined items do not create another long delay.
How long does the full process take?
For many typical estates, approximately 7–9 days from the first setup day through final post-sale removal. Larger estates and unusual circumstances can require more time.
Can you work around a closing deadline?
Often, yes. Share the deadline during your consultation so we can determine whether the sale and partner schedule can be built around it.
